Also, "noob" is spelled n-o-o-b, not n-e-w-b

Well, I don't really consider newbies being noobs.
When I think noob, I think annoying, lacking common sense and intellgence.
When I think newb, I think more innocent and just new to a forum/game/whatever, so... Maybe less understanding.

Noobs and newbs aren't the same. :3

Noob is an insult. It means you have the mind of a person completely new to reality and is completely clueless. Like the kind of people who ask stupid questions that have already been answered.

Newb is a good term. It means you are new to something and haven't done anything stupid. Basically, its like saying you are the new guy.
